According to a report released by the Hawaii Department of Transportation in August, the department recommends a gradual shift to RUC. Most of the drivers involved in the report expressed support for replacing the current system with RUC as soon as possible.

Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) is upgrading its L25 compact electric wheel loader. The option to install a new parallel linkage is especially suited for medium load cycles and pallet handling applications. This will complement the existing Z-type parallel linkage, which provides high breakout torque, but now applies to a broader range of applications.

Mercedes partners with Rivian to develop electric vans.

Lincoln Electric will produce fast-charging electric vehicle chargers.

Lincoln Electric plans to design and manufacture DC fast chargers for the U.S. electric vehicle (EV) market. It has developed a 50kW DC fast charger power module with a scalable architecture, capable of providing power levels over 300kW. Additionally, the charger will feature a single charging port compatible with CCS-1 vehicles.
