Liebherr is a Swiss-German multinational equipment manufacturer, headquartered in Bulle, Switzerland, with major production facilities and origins in Germany.

Liebherr is made up of over 130 companies across 11 divisions, including earthmoving, cranes, concrete technology, and aerospace. With more than 42,000 employees, the company achieved a revenue of 9 billion euros in 2017 and became the world's largest crane company by 2007.

Founded by Hans Liebherr in 1949 in Kirchdorf an der Iller, Germany, the company is still fully owned by the Liebherr family. Hans's daughter Isolde and Willy Liebherr's son are CEO and Chairman of Liebherr International AG, based in Bulle, Switzerland, with other family members actively involved in management.
